Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how fluXtore ("we", "us", "our" — P. IVA N° 15166761005) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website, WordPress plugins, and account dashboard (together, the "Service").
1. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account data: name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text)
- License data: license key, plan, activated site domains, AppSumo redemption codes
- Payment data: for paid subscriptions, payment is processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details
- Usage data: login timestamps, API requests made by your WordPress plugin installations (for license validation and plugin updates), support requests
- Chat assistant: the messages you type in the website chat are sent to Groq to generate the reply and are stored for up to 90 days (with a shortened, non-reversible form of your IP address) to improve the service. Please do not write passwords or payment details in the chat
- Support tickets: the messages and details you send us when you open a ticket (subject, description, site address, replies)
- Technical data: IP address and browser user agent, collected automatically for security and abuse prevention
2. How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your account and license
- To validate and activate your fluXtore Pro license on the WordPress sites you register
- To process payments and manage subscriptions (via Stripe)
- To send you transactional emails: account creation, password reset, license activation confirmations
- To provide customer support, including through our ticket system, where a first reply may be drafted or sent by an automated assistant (AI) based on our public documentation; complex or sensitive requests (billing, refunds, legal) are always handled by a person
- To deliver plugin updates to licensed sites
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for), legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and consent (optional cookies — see our Cookie Policy).
4. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with the following processors, strictly to operate the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions
- Brevo — transactional email delivery (account/license emails)
- Groq — AI processing of the text of support tickets to prepare replies (the text you submit in a ticket is sent to Groq for this purpose only, not for model training by us)
- Hetzner — server hosting in the European Union
- AppSumo — validation of lifetime deal redemption codes, if you purchased via AppSumo
5. Data Retention
Support tickets are kept for up to 24 months after they are closed; chat messages for up to 90 days. We retain your account and license data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, and support obligations. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. International Data Transfers
Some of our processors (Stripe, Brevo, Groq) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on their respective Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
7. Your Rights
If GDPR or a similar data protection law applies to you, you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@fluxtore.com.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted password storage, HTTPS-only connections, and restricted access to production systems. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
