A flow is composed of multiple steps the visitor is going to follow. Each of these steps as an important role and in this article we’ll see the differences.
Landing Page step #
A Landing Page is a page where your leads (potential customers) lands on, for example, after having clicked on an Ad on a Social Network.
In this particular page, all the advantages of your product are listed and the visitor is invited to purchase the item through a Call To Action (CTA).
Checkout Page step #
Once the visitor is convinced they are going to purchase your product and they click on the CTA, the flow moves to the next step, the Checkout Page, bypassing the Cart step a normal E-Commerce would have shown instead.
This “bypass” is crucial to decrease the friction between the buyer and the product and increase the sales.
In the Checkout Page the buyer fills in their personal/shipping info and then proceed straight to the payment.
With the Pro you can also define an Order Bump.
Upsell Page step #
This is a Pro only step.
The Upsell Page is placed after the Checkout Page.
Once the buyer as placed an order for your product in the previous step, they are redirected to this page where you can show them another offer.
They have the possibility to accept or decline the offer.
If they accept, since they already inserted the payment info, they will proceed directly to the payment with no friction.
Downsell Page step #
This is a Pro only step.
The Downsell Page is placed after an Upsell Page.
If the buyer decided to decline the offer you proposed them in the Upsell Page they will be redirected to this page.
Here you can show them an additional offer, usually similar to the previous one but cheaper.
If they accept, since they already inserted the payment info, they will proceed directly to the payment with no friction.
Thank You Page step #
This step is the last step of the flow.
In this step the buyer will receive a summary of their orders.
